On Saturday night the Outlaws outlasted the DC Breeze in a back and forth battle that went the distance, finally ending in double overtime. The Ottawa victory was bitter sweet which saw them lose their leader, Derek Alexander to what turned out to be a ruptured achilles tendon effectively ending his season and putting his return to the AUDL in jeopardy. Derek underwent surgery Monday morning and is recovering at home and remains in good spirits. The entire Outlaws organization send our best wishes to Derek and his family and we look forward to seeing #9 at the stadium in the very near future.
