Seattle faces Dallas for second matchup this season

July 14, 2021

The Seattle Cascades are back at Memorial Stadium this Friday, July 16 at 7:30 PM/PT. They’ll take on the Dallas Roughnecks for the second time this season; the first meeting two weeks ago resulted in a 24-16 Roughnecks win.

The Cascades are 2-4 this season after dropping back-to-back games on their Texas road trip, and they’ll look to get revenge on the Roughnecks this week, a team that sits at 4-3 in third place in the West Division. Both Cascades wins have come at home this season, and they’ve scored an average of 26 points in those wins.

Through the first six weeks of the season, the Cascades’ strong suit has been their defense. They rank fourth in the league in defensive efficiency and are tied for seventh in takeaways per game. Defender Shane Worthington is tied for ninth in the league in blocks, with 10; the fourth-year Cascades vet has recorded multiple blocks in four of six games this season.

Friday’s game will be broadcast live on DraftKings Twitch and YouTube channels.

Tickets for the game are available at the official team store.
