Flyers On Broadcast TV In 2018

The American Ultimate Disc League announced a two-year deal with Watch Stadium to bring live pro ultimate games across all of Stadium's digital and televised platforms.

March 31 marks the date of the Raleigh Flyers home opener and the AUDL’s Game of the Week returns to Raleigh vs our rivals from Florida. The home opening telecast of the season will pit Raleigh Flyers versus the Tampa Bay Cannons (under new ownership) to kick off our new year of coverage with a new television partner. Last year’s MVP, Jonathan Nethercutt and most of the 2017 MVP worthy supporting receiver core cast return for another run at the Championship after going 13-1 and finishing 1st in 2017 AUDL Regular Season.

From the League: “Stadium is a new and exciting multi-platform network that focuses on current, cutting edge sports that appeal to a wide fan base,” said AUDL Commissioner Steve Gordon. “Their rapidly growing reach through broadcast television and extensive streaming capabilities will provide AUDL games to a broad audience nationally, and for the first time, expanded live coverage internationally via Twitter. This is a very exciting time for ultimate and the AUDL.”

Each of the events will be produced by the esteemed ultimate production company Fulcrum Media, and will include the regularly scheduled AUDL Game of the Week, including the playoffs and Championship Weekend. As a part of this new partnership, Stadium will broadcast an AUDL Game of the Week each week, including playoff rounds. Stadium will also broadcast a women's game from the 2018 EuroStar tour hosted by the AUDL.
